LANGUAGE SCREEN assessments
To start an assessment in the Language Screen app, the pupil’s QR code is scanned and verified

NELI PROGRAMME: The Intervention: provides evidence-based language intervention for the lowest 20% percentile of children, as identified by Language Screen

•20-week targeted intervention, delivered by teachersorteaching assistants
•The programme consists of three 25-minute Group sessionsand two 15-minute Individual sessions per week
•Fully scripted programme, with instructionsincluded in Teaching Handbooks provided to schools along with NELI resources, flashcards, asynchronous trainingandmentorsupport
•Most well-evidenced early language programmeavailable globally with children making the equivalent of 3-5 months’ additional progress inlanguage skills in just six months
•NELI’s positive effects can be seen long-term with improvements in language (and reading) being seen in children 2 years after the intervention
NELI is delivered to 4 - 6 children in three Group sessions and two Individual sessions per week
